Peanuts Gallery, free Gravy!

Happy November!

We're now entering the final throes of autumn before it crests into winter, and before all the Pumpkin Spice flavored things all turn into Gingerbread flavored things.

As Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday promotion reminds us all, people don't give a starchy toot about the holiday between Halloween and Christmas... but I DO. I give a great starchy toot about all of it! Thanksgiving holds a special place in my heart, and it grieves me to see it buffalo'd over year after year by Christmas. That's why 2 years ago, my buddy Josh A. Cagan and I wrote a whole musical, Thanksgiving Vs. Christmas, about this very struggle.

There are two versions of Thanksgiving Vs. Christmas available: one with just the full show, and another with the full show + demos & bloopers, or "extra gravy" as we call it, for $5 more.

But from now until Black Friday, you can get a free helping of gravy with a digital download of Thanksgiving Vs. Christmas + Extra Gravy, if you use the code "FREEGRAVY" at checkout!

It's the first day of November and I've already typed "gravy" like 35 times. November is off to a great start! Moving on!

New Peanuts Gallery

There's also a new episode of The Peanuts Gallery up today, in which we tackle 1969's feature film A Boy Named Charlie Brown - ALSO featuring the hot takes of fellow nerd songstress Allie Goertz! This episode closes out what Josh and I are calling "season 1" of Peanuts Gallery, though maybe "the 1960s season" is more descriptive.

Look forward to some format changes & general tightening up in season 2, AKA the first half of the 1970s. (The Peanuts animation team really kicked it into gear in the 70s, to say nothing of the direct-to-video boom of the 80s).

Other Things in the Works

I don't want to give away too many details, but I have some fun stuff planned for this month, and I'm putting some other goodies away for the upcoming months. I'll be dropping a fun little thing at the top of next week, and then revisiting some oldies-but-goodies, to be doled out monthly between now and next February – My Patrons will get wind of those first.

Shortly after I've recorded those, I'll be going up to LoadingReadyRun's Desert Bus for Hope charity drive – I arrive at the Lunar Module on the 16th, but (again, don't wanna spoil anything) you should definitely tune in when they first go live at 10AM PST on November 12th. I've heard good things about their opening act.
